Which One's Me? is a game made by Arun Brahma, an individual developer. This page explains what the game stores, why, and for how long. Questions: contact@arunbrahma.com.
What we store
- If you make a challenge in ChatGPT: the first name or nickname you choose, the five questions, your answers, and the two fake answers per question that ChatGPT wrote.
- If you play a friend's challenge: the nickname you type, which answers you picked, and your score.
- To keep your results private: a one-way hash of your private results key and a one-way hash of an anonymous chat id that ChatGPT provides. Neither can be turned back into the original.
- To prevent abuse: a salted one-way hash of your network address, kept for 1 hour to limit how many challenges, games or reports come from one network. If you report a challenge, that hash is also kept with the challenge until it is deleted, so each network counts once.
- Daily totals: counts such as how many challenges were made or games were played that day. These contain no personal information.
What we never collect
We never collect email addresses, accounts or passwords, your location, your ChatGPT chat history, or device fingerprints. There are no ads and no tracking cookies.
Why we use it
Only to run the game: show your friends the questions, tell them whether they spotted the real you, show you the results, and stop spam and abuse.
Who processes it
- Vercel hosts the website.
- Upstash stores the game data.
- OpenAI's moderation service checks names, nicknames and answers for harmful content before anything is shown to others.
We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep it
Every challenge, with all of its plays and reports, is deleted automatically 90 days after it is made. Other network-address hashes are deleted after 1 hour. Daily totals are kept for up to 400 days.
Your choices
To delete your challenge and all of its plays right away, ask ChatGPT to "delete my challenge" in the chat where you made it, or email contact@arunbrahma.com with your private results link. To remove a game you played, email us the challenge link and your nickname.
Age
Which One's Me? is meant for people aged 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13.
